Birthday Month
I’ve been so lazy in terms of writing. I’ve been extremely busy with my clients and of course keeping up with my toddler who just turned two. Her birthday was yesterday! It doesn’t seem like two years have come and gone. I do not feel a year older since my birthday was on Tuesday. In the past I have always planned events to celebrate my birthday, however the past three years I haven’t done such a thing. This month is less about me and more about my amazing beautiful daughter. Ava has always been a bright and well advanced baby/toddler. Two months early but always exceeded her milestones. For two years old, her vocabulary is extraordinary due to the fact that I never practiced baby talk. She likes to hop, dance, sing and spin in circles. She is always asking for a pen so she can write on a piece of paper. “Mommy read” she would say as she gives me a book of her choice. “Mommy music” so she can show me her latest moves as I turn on the radio. My favorite part in her development is when she tells me to “listen” because I constantly tell her she must listen! She loves to sing her ABCs, ride on her pony and run around naked before her bath time… the list of things are countless and as time progress the memories that are stored will be priceless. She’s my big blessing.
