Trade the Chart
Trading is only difficult when you bring your assumptions to the table. If you have a preconceived notion about a particular stock you become biased. I must admit, I am the worst culprit when it comes to knowing anything about what I trade. Most of the times I do not know the company’s name- just the ticker. All the additional information is irrelevant to me. Just show me the chart!
Charts are beautiful. They tell you what happened in the past and give you signs of what to come in the future. Charts can show you a trend or if a stock is in a sideway consolidation. The volume on a chart is one of the most revealing aspects, but the most important part of a chart are the levels! Levels!! We have Levels in different time frames. The key is to be able to master all levels and know which level you are trading in at a particular time.
If you can read a chart properly. You will do well in trading. Swing Trading or Day Trading- Its all the same but the only difference is the duration of time.
